I am off shopping tomorrow for Kimba, new collar lead bed ect..and need to get her some toys. Now my problem is Chloe and fudge, they chew all the toys we buy within minutes, they can distroy a tennis ball in 30 seconds flat
The only toy that has survived the test of time ( and fudge and chloe) is the kong. So do you have any ideas what i can buy for a puppy ut will survive chewing springers.
It's softer than the boomer ball and is more or less indestructable - check it out under the products and services heading as there's a short video clip of it in action.
It comes in three sizes and the one in the video is the meduim.
I found the Nylabone puppy teething keys were popular with Minnie-Moo and although my older dogs were told to leave them, if they did start chewing on them while I wasn't looking, they held up pretty well.
M-M did have puppy kongs, including the "binkie" dummy style one, but we found out they are not older dog proof.
Theres a new range out at pets at home can't remember for the life of me what it's called but if you go in store you will see them! I got a bone for Buster that seems quite robust, Snoop can't yet get through it when he trys! Also the Cyberdog dental range is good and it's quite robust with tiny softer teeth-like coating only in certain places. Snoop shows no interest in it.
Snoop was really bad at pinching Buster's toys but after a few stern 'leave it''s he learnt they weren't his to play with. Also helped as I had Buster crated so any of his toys were in his bed.
That ball looks interesting Lesley! If I wanted one that a smaller lab type could easily pick up and carry (as that's what mine prefer) would I be looking at the pink one do you think? Not very manly for Max I know
Well the ball came today, orginally it was for Kimba pup but the poor girl hasnt had a look in, its the best toy ever, all the dogs are running around trying to catch this ball, they have been playing all afternoon, i can see me ordering another couple soon, one just doesnt go round lol.
Thanks padfoots pets my dogs are having a wonderful time playing with the ball.
Your very welcome Denise.
It's nice to hear that your pooches love it as much as mine do.
It's an amazing ball - all those teeth and it's still round and intact
