Sadly we had to say goodbye to Jasper tonight 
When we got to the vets this evening it was clear that he was very poorly indeed and he had not responded to any of the treatment. The Vet said that we could take him home if we wanted to but that he wasn't hopeful
We couldn't bear to see him like this 
I cuddled him in my arms until the last moment and then I saw my old boy before me, free from pain and at peace.
So, my beautfiul boy, Good night, sleep peacefully now. no more pain. You were truly loved by all of us xxxxxxxxx
