Am not sure if it's too late but I found this article to be of assistance when going to choose a proper bed...

Now it's off to my own bed! Zzzzzz

Thanks very much for the info 3Putt.
I chose a large cushion with a cord cover by "Earthbound" for Kelly.
She loves the cushion & I'm going to buy a spare cover for it.

Because Max likes to stretch out and lie flat out on his back. I have two single quilts inside a old single quilt cover (halved). Good size but it really isnt very supportive or particularly soft. Looks very thick but they dont support well. He had a PAH good brown bed/cusion but it isnt big enough now. Sometimes I think he gets too hot (not surprised with two quilts in) but want something that will resist his weight and still leave him getting up without aches and pains.

Memory foam sounds good but 2" thick seems rather thin to me

I contacted someone in ebay the other day about some foam for making a bed for ruby. I was quoted about £25 including delivery for a 1m square piece of foam about 5 inch thick ( 3 inch foam bonded together with 2 inch memory foam on the top)

Am going to get some chocolate brown fleece for the bottom and some creamy brown faux fur for the top and cover it for Ruby as a nice new bed Smile

CJ uses a bed similar to charlie`s, cept its camaflaged Laughing , he thinks I don`t know he`s there, you can see him in it in my sig pic Laughing

As she doesn`t chew you could get her one of the soft and fluffy type ones rather than the hard ones that you need bedding for Smile
