I am just buying a 200cm leather adjustable lead, don't know what that is in feet?

Just to say I despise nylon leads, (know that doesn't help at all) my hands are all burned where Cadbury has suddenly charged off and its raced through my hands or I've pulled on it.

I have a training line which goes to, I think, 9-10m? Excellent for recall training - just my poor, poor hands Crying or Very sad

I got a Halti lead (same as others on this thread) which is fabulous and comfortable and adjustable as you requested. I got it from Furbabies which is the LF sister site and you get a discount for being a LF subscriber!

I know what you mean about the nylon, normally i don't have a problem but this morning got 2 blisters on one finger from her lead. She was on her back legs pulling to get over the road to another dog. I do find this odd though as when she is of the lead on the field such as tonight 3 other dogs were running around loose and she never bothered with them.

Not seen any leather ones where are you getting yours from?

Looks a great lead, not been able to find a good pic of it so was a little unsure about the quality. Some things i just hate buying online, you know at times you need to be able to hold it to check it out.

Seems all i have done for the last few days is look for a lead. I have ordered a leather police training lead of e-bay. Have spent the last day e-mailing the seller to get them to make me one thats a inch wide for the bargin price of £20.99 fingers crossed its not crap when it arrives lol.

Has 4 different lengths from 45-75

The one you've bought is very similar to mine, which I am eagerly anticipating.

I in fact looked at yours while scouring the web for mine. I admit I was swayed by the lower cost of the one I found Embarassed

Let me know how you get on with yours and I'll do the same.

At long last the lead has arrived lol.

Poppy and i have been out for 3 walks now with the new lead and we are very pleased, only had it on the shortest so far. It does need softening up a little though any ideas what i can put on it to soften the leather?
