Have to say I can`t see why they couldn`t have xrayed at the same time as Tombi`s spay, it was done for Cindy when she ruptured her cruciate, they xrayed then operated after calling me.

Cindy is a smaller dog though, that may have had something to do with it but I`m afraid the cynic in me thinks its to do with money Confused

Don't panic yet. See what the vet says. And if the worst happens, There is loads of treatments, and maybe all you have to do is slow down the excersiseing. Hope all goes well for you tomorrow, and sending loads of vibes. Let us know how you get on.

Just a quick update, sorry didn't get on over the weekend.

Tombi saw the vet on Friday who said she thinks there may be a bit of swelling behind both of her elbows, but agreed that the time had come to x-ray her and she is booked in for tomorrow (Tues).

Oh, I hate leaving her at the vet and I'm going to be so stressed again tomorrow, just seems such a shame they have to have a GA just for an x-ray!
