I really didn't know what section to post this in. Things only really touch me now and then hard old thing that I am. I didn't own this beautiful bitch, I barely knew this beautful bitch and I hardly know her owner, Kira Leith Ross, but today in Dog World a full page advert owed to the recent passing of 'Tiwi' pulled me up short and made me cry.
Who says exhibitors and breeders see dogs as commodities? As rungs on the ladder of success? Maybe some but not all, and this advert full of quiet dignity but raw and absolute grief really made me stop and made me call the lady to express my deep sympathies.
Her end was tragic, but her life was amazing and I know Kira has been a subscriber in the past and incase she ever drops in I wanted her to know again that her piece touched me and there isn't a person here that doesn't know at least some of the pain she is feeling right now.
My once in a lifetime dog is old and starting to slow down much as I cannot bear to admit it, and the passing of such a young beautiful dog such as Tiwi, tugs at me.
Sleep tight and sincere condolences to all at Tintagel Winds even if they never see this.

I don`t know the circumstances of the dogs death but my heart is with her owners and all associated with her, I`ve heard of Tintagel Winds and believe that Nicola`s (Maddie) Blue is from their kennel.

hope no-one minds me posting this, but as Di says it touched hearts all over the world. Anyone who has had any contact with the TW's will know that Tiwi was such a special girl

What a sad, sad story .... and such a moving tribute...... 
As an aside - was there a misprint in her date of birth? I thought she'd just had a litter?
