Reading this an hour after posting about a new litter coming I know some will find it hard to believe that anyone who breeds cares about the rescue situation too, but I welled up at Nats list and also prayed I could do something for them. I used to have at least one rescue dog at home too at all times, since Rusty died earlier this year its the first time we haven't had one, and it won't be long before that gap is filled by another needy guy or girl.

Its heartbreaking and I have to say Soph, your outrage and passion in your posts on the first page of this thread brought a lump to my throat.

Di

I know this thread brought such sad, horrid news Crying or Very sad but as a result of it I have been able to pass contact details for two forum members onto a couple of rescues as potential transport volunteers, so thank you Nat for posting this thread and thanks to those that volunteered - it may well help save a dog's life in the future.

Oh and just read your post about the radio Nat, well done Smile

I wonder sometimes if the ads saying "we never put a healthy dog down" give the impression we don't have an unwanted dog problem anymore in the UK, which is far from the truth Sad
