It has been a traumatic week over here in Suffolk - my mum and her oh have a fifteen year old collie called Gem and she has been gradually going down hill to the point where she has no quality of life at all.
She is very much mums oh dog and has been with him through all of lifes challenges and he is devastated - but he has made the decision to send her on her way on Tuesday at 11.30am. He is very much a mans man so I cannot call him so I thought I would do it here. He has the day off work tomorrow and they are having a last day just the two of them - so very very heartbreaking I cannot imagine being in his shoes today.
To Gem - have a lovely day tomorrow you will always be in our hearts xxxxx

Awww I'm very sorry to hear about Gem .Run free Gem be thinking about you and your mum .
