I have just been chatting with a friend of mine who lives over in the States, who owns a 5yr old lab called Molly, and this morning, she told me the devastating news, that Molly had been stolen from her neighbours yard (while they were looking after her...well, they were out at the shops). She knows of man (who she's had ENDLESS amount of trouble off) who she believes is quite capable of taking Molly. And if that wasn't bad enough, she has just informed me that Molly's body has been found at the end of the street the police were searching, and it has been confirmed Molly has been poisoned with antifreeze, and has gone to rainbow bridge.
I am absolutely devastated for her and for Molly, who was young, and full of life! My friend is absolutely beside herself in pain and anger and is not coping well. I can't do anything other than speak to her, and I know there's nothing my LF family can do, but I'd really appreciate if you could all spare a thought for poor Molly, who did not deserve to go like this, and send ~~stay strong~~ vibes to my friend........
RIP sweet Molly, run free at the Bridge, and know how loved you were, that this wasn't your fault, and you shouldn't have gone like this.....
Thats a terrible thing to do, my thoughts are with your friend, I know there`s nothing we can do but please let your friend know that dog lovers (not just lab ones) this side of the Atlantic are thinking of her.
