My mother in law phoned this morning, to ask my hubby if he would take her and 16 year old Max to the vets. They got Max when he was one, he was a rescue dog (he'd been badly treated in his first year). Max was a beautiful and very well behaved dog, all the family loved him.
Max was a healthy boy up until about 2 weeks ago, when he began struggling to stand up and wasn't eating much, he deteriorated quite quickly.
Max has gone to sleep now, sweet dreams young man. You will be missed by everyone who knew you.
