I have noticed that LF postings have changed over the last few months from the minority of members
These postings are becoming too much of an issue and the moderators are now going to be applying the forum rules more vigorously.

specifi cally the section on General forum etiquette:

Any members who break the forum rules will now be subject to action from the mods, this may be a simple PM warning, being Kicked from a thread (Kicked from a thread means that person cannot access the thread to post on it in future), and if that individual continuously crosses the line then after 3 issues we will be forced into removing them from the site.
I don't like laying down the law like this, but I want to maintain a happy website where people can come and chat about Labs, not a place to argue, goad and gossip about each other

PS - Only joking!
On a more serious note - if you are referring to what I think you might be referring to - totally agree. I personally hate to see personal attacks, they are totally unwarranted and unjustifiable (mods excepted of course!!!!! )

oh i totally agree with eve
but have just had a look in the doghouse  assuming it was the place where naughty boys and girls go i was expecting to see a name or two in there but no one has been in for since 2006, so LF cant be all that bad ...........can it ???????????

the reason for that Sheila is that is that the staff had been giving leeway in the past, but this hasn't worked and from now on all the tools at their disposal will be in use.
