Have heard that Burns is a good food from some of the other members but have no personal experience... just wanted to post a quick reply as i'm happy to see someone else has a lab that isn't huge... Max was 18weeks yesterday (saturday) and he was weighed on Monday at 11.7 kilos... just wanted to let you know Tia isn't alone..lol!
Many thanks to Jendiu and Lablover for your replies. I am also reassured that your Max is on the lighter side! I can really say that Burns is excellent and have used the Burns helpline where I spoke to a nutritionist who was extremely helpful. I do worry too much!
Harry ii yrs is fed Quantum senior light topped with raw tripe. Neo 5yrs is fed on Quantum adult topped with raw tripe. Beth 9wks, i'm slowly introducing her to Quantum puppy from chicken and rice as she has had diarrhoea and has been on antibiotics from the vets.
how old is a dog before it's classed as senior? When Harry and Neo are half way through their food they swap dishes and finish off each others food so it would be better if i could buy the same dry food.
the tripe doen't half stink but they seem to love it!
My dog ben was on pedigree puppy complete dry food and is now on the pedigree junior complete he has not had an upset tummy or anything but he does get (sorry to say this) quite windy! Should i change his food or stay on the pedigree complete?
Rufus started out on Proplan but then i changed it to Pedigree Complete puppy. He really enjoyed this for 4 months but then started to leave it (which really worried me as we all know how much labs like food!), so i mixed in some tinned food and WOW he wolfs it down.
So now it's 1/3 tinned puppy food and 2/3 dry. He has a lovely coat and strong teeth

Have noticed on the survey we have attached to Labforums on the homepage that some of you are ticking in the box 'other' from the selections listed.
Wondered if you would be so kind as to reply in this thread what you feed your lab if you ticked other...just trying to get some results together for some research...many thanks.
