I've started to become quite intrigued by Joey's pedigree now having seen other posts regarding this. We're not planning on showing him but I'm just quite fascinated by what his ancestors might have done or been like!

His 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation he has;

Prideline Ramruma at Sprincot (Sire)
Sprincot Echo (Dam)
FT CH IR FT CH Rozel Rocket of Tasco (IKC)
FT CH Garendon Ann
FT CH Dargdaffin Dynamo
Sprincot Nellie
FT CH Pocklea Remus
Tasco Glow
FT CH Tibea Tosh
FT CH Munro Tess
FT CH Tasco Broom-Tip of Carnochway
Dargdaffin Candy
Globelands Toby
Mousehall Paprika.

Anything interesting here anyone? (John perhaps? Very Happy )

Looks like his lineage is of working dogs not show dogs - not that it makes a blind bit of difference (to me anyway!). I don't know any of the affixes (or is it affices?) as I am more familiar with the show lines. I don't think I have any of these on my growing database!

John's yer man!

PS Beware - it can become very addictive!! Laughing Laughing

LOL Nicola - another caught in the addiction Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Pocklea Remus was a successful and rather prolific stud Wink - IGL Retriever winner in 1991 plus runner up in 1989 and third in 1990. (in my boy's too Suzanne)

Garendon Captain won the IGL Retriever Champs in 1998

I have got the bug to now I have found out that willows granfather Strong Blabe is also Ozzys dad. How do you go about searching for this info as I haven't got a clue? Is there a website or something? I have found Strong blabe and it was lovely to find a pic of him. So thought I might see if I can find out how many generations I can go back.

Lucy's GGP's were FT CH Poclea Remus and FT CH Middlegate Cleo of Glebespray.

Her lineage is all working dogs.

In her 5th generation there are a lot of "Drakeshead" ie:

IR FT CH Drakeshead Connie
FT CH Breeze of Drakeshead
FT CH Drakeshead Anna
IR FT CH Drakeshead Gypsy

Nic - you have two with the name Tasco - in Lucy's 4th generation there is FT CH IR FT CH Tasco Dan and in her 3rd FT CH Tasco Dancing Brave of Willowyck

Wish I knew what the hell all this meant Embarassed Gonna have to get googling myself obviously!!
