Has anyone got a large Dublin collar? If so, please do you mind measuring it for me. Just the coloured bit, not the buckle.

Thanks - I think I have made a mistake Embarassed Embarassed Embarassed

PMSL @ Jules - thanks anyway.

I usually buy a 22" collar for Charlie so there is a bit to tuck in if it has a buckle. The large said 17" - 21" so I thought they would be too small so went for the XL. It came while I was on holiday and I've just tried it on him and it's massive! Even on the tightest hole it's about 2" too big!

I've measured his collar with a clip and the coloured bit is 19" so if the coloured bit on the Dublin is 21" then it only gives me 2" to tuck in so thought it might be too small - every inch counts!! Shocked Shocked Shocked

Dublin collars are waterproof and supposedly non-stinky as well Laughing Laughing So for a dog who spends half his life in water, they're brill. They come in great colours too

Here's a link to the site I got mine from

I think they are generous. I bought the Large but I have to have both girls on the second tightest hole, yet their necks are larger than 17" (infact I think they are about 19-20").

Hang on....let me go see if one of the boys has an old Ruler somewhere.
