When they get to a grand age like that its like they will go on forever (we lost our 17 year old dog last year and your description of Sam was very similar to our Hamish).

I did see your post yesterday and thought what a lovely long life. I am sure you all had some wonderful times together, and of course you will still keep and treasure your memories of him.

I'm very sorry to hear that Matthew, I read your Sam post too a couple of days ago.... it sounded like he lived a full and brilliant life.
