I don't understand this thread asking for help in Tamworth which is clearly within the area LRSE&C cover, as you well know Natalie.
So what I would like to know is why haven't you referred this dog to us ?
We have no knowledge of Dende needing help or where she is or her circumstances
As LF coordinator for rescue and knowing of a dogs plight then surely you should have contacted the relevant rescue ? Instead of asking for transport to another area.
Sorry but I can't get my head around this as it doesn't make sense and an an explaination would be nice
The dog in question went to Labrador Rescue North West who are also LLR members, in fact Tamworth is in Staffordshire and is in their area.
Also according to LRSE&C site you do not cover as far up as Staffordshire.
Your website states the following areas;
Midlands, Leics, Derbyshire, Coventry, Birmingham, Part Shropshire
I have asked for LRSE&C help in the past with dogs but being as this one was in the North of England and Glenys volunteered her help and assistance Dende went there.
Please feel free to email or phone me off the board for any more clarification

As long as the dog is in good hands , as I know she will be with NW who are a very reputable rescue, then that's all that really matters
Although I do think that maybe you need some lessons in geography as Tamworth is definalty in the Midlands, with Derbyshire and Shropshire etc being higher up, so how you made this mistake is beyond me, but nobody is prefect lol
Do not have PM facilites and anything I have to say can be read here nothing wrong with that
Lets not argue over borders Staffordshire is North Midlands if you like Still comes under Lab Rescue NW, I'll bear in mind that LRSE&C are happy to take North Midlands for the future.
Any dogs that come to LF LLR attention are sent on email to ALL LLR members that are relevant and cover that area normally I send them all to Alison as I have her email address, in future I am more than happy to add you to the email list, perhaps you could let me have it for future reference
I just want to say also, just in case, that I am not affiliated to any ONE rescue and that I work on behalf of ALL rescues, just wanted to clear that up in case there was any confusion

hi natalie i often rehome labadors from tamworth and i live in birmingham which is not that many miles away from tamworth.you cannot get any futher into the midlands than birmingham so how do you work out that tamworth is north midlands ive never heard of it.love sue+girls
Does the geography really matter everyone Natalie got Dende's transport sorted out and hopefully she will soon be in a new loving home, so well done Natalie
Excuse me girls and boys, i dont usually interfere in heated topic but......
Nat does a wonderful and often thankless job at sorting out dogs that need transport and rehoming, is it really fair to ' have a dig' at her knowledge of the country. ( which usually is spot on)
I know she works days and nights sorting out dogs and think it so rude to have a pop.
