Brill advice - conjured up visions of me running about with a dummy in my gob though Shocked - my kids would die of embarrassment! They already hide from honey and I in the park as we chase each other about Laughing

Seriously, put her in a sit, tell her to stay, throw the dummy, reinforce the stay command and go out and pick up the dummy.

Alternate throwing a dummy and another toy and only send her out for about 1 in 3 retrieves, sometimes for the dummy sometimes for the toy.

It will keep her interested and help to steady her sit/stay command.

Hope this helps x

This is also good advice, I do this with five tennis balls, but I always collect them myself and give them the command to "leave that one" this helps later on, when wanting a dog to retrieve a blind, instead of the mark that has just seen.
