We've always been delighted at the quality of Kong products and prepared to pay over the odds for them as they last - but not the Wubba Embarassed Embarassed Embarassed

Here's what Megan did to the "tennis ball" in the top section in 30 seconds....

I've already told Kong about my disappointment. I thought it would be just the toy for Megan and little Ash to enjoy together but not if it disintegrates with the bigger dog just tugging on the top section.

(I unripped the stitches to see what had got wrong inside by the way)

Jet killed his wubba in just a few minutes. When I complained to the manufacterer I got a reply saying that they were interactive toys for the dog to play with under supervision only.

I had thrown the wubba, sent Jet out to retrieve it and he killed it on the way back from the retrieve Rolling Eyes

I won't be buying another one either Sad

I think someone else posted a similar pic after their Lab had had one for a similar length of time, seems its not one of their better products, what did they say when you told them?, BTW CJ ate his first (and only!) Kong

Our Kong Wubba is still as good as new... the boys love it - but they only ever get to play with it at the lake.. I would imagine if they started chewing it that it would easily fall apart...

I don't think the quality of the Kong Wubbas is as good as the original Wubba Wubbas, as I've had a couple of them which lasted ages. They even survived Oyster the Destroyer, albeit looking a bit tatty Wink .

Ours are fine but Molly's not really a chewer, even the fleecy one (which I was concerned about when the children chose it) has been fine, they've coped with a few trips through the washing machine as well as she keeps leaving them outside!

I'm always really surprised when I see broken up Wubbas... Hud has a puppy one and a big adult one... oh yeah and a furry one... they are still intact... not a sign of damage. He's a pretty intent chewer too, just doesn't seem to want to chew them.

None of my dogs have ever been interested in kongs stuffed or otherwise...
so not bought the wubba and don;t think I will now.....

But I would definitely take it up with the manufacturers...

I was thinking of getting Poppy one but not really sure now.

She is not interested in many toys and shows no interest when out on a walk was hoping this would be this ideal distraction for her when of the lead.

Any suggestions of what is the best toy to get ?? i was also thinking of a dummy but we don't really have any water where i live. Are there any toys that may withstand my bad throwing i lost a squeaky bone over the airport perimeter yesterday
