Hi Eve
Rosie has started to go out now but only to work other than that she hasn't left the house, she struggled the first time she got back into the car but I think as the week has passed it's getting a bit easier, Rob just won't talk about what happened to anyone where as Rosie needs to talk about Womble so for now that is what we're doing, thanks for asking.

I think talking about Womble is good and I`m glad that Rosie has you and your family that she can talk to about her, she`s going to feel guilty for the rest of her life about what happened, but it wasn`t her fault, sadly these things do happen.
People react in different ways when things like this happen, sounds like Rob has retreated into himself, its a shame he doesn`t want to talk about Womble, but hopefully in the future he will be able to.

Hi Mary
yes I think you're right about Rob, the thing is when he rushed Womble to the vets Rob only heard what he wanted to hear not what the vet actually told him so Rob truly believed that Womble would be fixed and he would be coming home alive and well which might have been the case if it had just been both the back legs being broken but with the massive internal injuries as well it was just never going to be, I'll continue to give them both all the support they need right now in their own way and hopefully one day they'll both be able to look back and remember the happy memories of Womble.
