Jet has an old slazenger tennis ball which he adores, but it's now almost in 2 halves. While looking for a replacement, i brought some from the Woolworths worth it range (what a waste of money) lasted 2-3 minutes each. Has anyone used the Kong air squeaker balls, do they last and are they resistant to chewing? Jet has a Kong air ring/donut (sorry can't remember what they are called), and apart from him pulling the green covering of in places it is lasting really well.

Yes - we have 8 lying around!! They are brilliant. Very durable - They do get canine holes in but we have never had one split - more than I can say for the cheap Tesco ones that we have used.

They also fit in a ball chucker if you use one.

Roo loves his - especially because they squeak!

They are the best tennis balls i have found, all are still intact, never had one split yet, they last far longer than any others ive bought.

EXCEPT...all of mine have all lost their squeak after a short time, I don't know what Millie does to them Confused

just a warning having heard of dogs getting tennis balls slobbered up - and then getting stuck in their throats - be careful about leaving tennis balls with dogs unattended.........

outside chance but i've heard of it happening

Noo !!!
All tennis balls are banned here ,Midas can almost swallow them whole ,god forbid if one got stuck ,they are waay too small for labradors ,if they can open their mouth wider that the ball then the ball is too small

I don't use tennis balls here for the same reason of the standard ones being a bit on the small size - but, are the Air Kong ones bigger? The ones they use in the QTease toys are I'm sure.

Kong do 2 sizes of tennis balls Very Happy - buy the bigger ones, no risk of choking then Very Happy

Stay away fron the 'tuff' balls range of tennis balls - they cost the same as kong and last 2 minutes.

Thanks everyone, i have ordered a pack of 3 kong tennis balls, but i have also ordered 1 larger kong ball. So i will let you know about the larger one.

I have heard about tennis balls getting stuck before, but Jet is never left alone with tennis balls as they are left in the garden, and he won,t go out to play on his own. I have to go and sit/play with him for an hour. Even if i come in to put the kettle on he comes in with me, and then we go back out again.

Sue
