All rescues need your help, whether it be transporting, homechecking or fostering.

http://www.labradorforums.co.uk/ftopic-44193-days0-orderasc-0. html

The number of dogs coming into pounds both here and in the UK has suddenly gone mad, we don't want to have to turn any Labradors that need our help away, but WE NEED YOUR HELP!

If you could spare any time at all to help us we really would appreciate it, even if you have never homechecked, fostered or transported before, once you have done it you will never look back, its ectremely rewarding.

I am compiling a list of those who need homechecks that have volunteered in the past for fostering.

I will get the homechecks done on behalf of Lab Link rescue so we can get them done quickly.

Please please, HELP US HELP THE DOGS THAT NEED US!

PLEASE ADD YOUR NAME TO THE DATABASE THREAD

Nat
I'm happy to be involved in homechecks and transport - I live in Ruislip so am close to west london all areas to the west of london. Never been involved in homechecking, so would need to be advised/trained.

Wish I could help with Fostering but work full time in london so wouldn't be able to.

Let me know what i can do and i will gladly help in anyway i can

Hi Nat

I am more than happy to help with whatever needs to be done. I would be willing to give fostering a shot, I do work full time but work very local to where I live and go home every lunchtime. We have 2 labs, Oscar and Charlie both castrated.

Just let me know if I can help.

Have done home checks and transport in the past but I`m afraid I can`t afford to do it atm, fostering of course is also out for the forseeable future.

I`ll let you know as soon as I`m able to do something to help and I`m very sorry I can`t do it right now when its really needed Sad

I'm happy to have a go at homechecking when I've been along with someone to see what is involved. Have helped with transport once & may be able to help again.

I know some rescues do this, RDR used to offer me money for transporting but I didn`t like to take it as I`m sure it can be used for other things such as vet fees for some of these poor dogs.

If the rescues are unable to find someone who can do it for nothing then I`m willing to do it if available, for the cost of the fuel.
