for inside my back door?
Lots of muddy prints on my slate floor at the moment.
I wondered it there is a good mat with high absorbancy?
At the moment I am putting an old towel down which does grab a lot of the muddy prints.

I bought one this weekend from the garden centre. it's rubber backed, cotton, 100% absorbent and mschine washable (so it says on the tin) It's been down since Saturday and seems to be doing it's job well enough with 3 traipsing over it. I'll check the name tonight if anyones interested.

I believe Turtle mats are the thing you want. They are expensive but worth it. I don't have one but I am saving up lol it will be summer by then and I won't need it. They have been recommended on here loads.

I have turtle mat type things, cotton and washable, and they are good, althoug Not 100% wet paw proof. If you can get the dog to do a couple of circuits on the mat before they wander off this will help further, but if not they're still a great improvement on 'normal' door mats.
