Hiya everyone

We need to get a decent brush for Roo.

He doesn't really lose much hair, but he does have weeks where he loses quite a bit.

We currently have a small slicker brush, but this does not get anything off him as the teeth are too wide and just smooth the loose hair down Rolling Eyes

We don't need a shedding blade or the like, just a general everyday brush.

Thanks for any help!!

We rarely brush, both of our girls like to be hoovered.

Another recent furminator convert, plus I use a zoom groom, which might be more suitable for everyday use.

For everyday use i normally use one of those gloves. Kinda sticky like texture but designed for pets. (Got it from PAH) They also make the coat nice and glossy too. The good thing about them is, the dog just thinks he or she is getting a big clap from you, so they love it. Aswell as the dogs, my cats especially enjoy it! 3 out of the 4 cats hate the brush but they all absolutely love me grooming them with the glove!

Zoom Groom for day to day and furminator when he's moulting a bit more.

We also use a normal human plastic comb with narrow/close teeth and this seems to work really well on his undercoat. We have to borrow the furminator from a groomer friend and so the rest of the time i use the comb
