Reading this initial quote on M & S website for pet insurance made me wonder whether anyone who had had perhaps a major claim from them had ever not been offered a renewal?

Lifetime cover, providing you renew your policy each year and cover continues to be made available to you

In 2 years we've claimed approx £9000 and haven't been turned down by M&S.
In fact this year it only went up by £15 and now costs us £215 per year - brilliant for us considering our claims, which I must add are always paid out with no problem

Wendy have you got the normal cover or the Premium Cover? I have just got a quote for £193.68 normal and £273.45 Premium so your's seems very reasonable dispite the amount you've had to claim? Smile

I think it's something to do with postcodes. Maybe we live in a 'safer' area than you Wink Wink Wink

Try putting your pups details in with a different postcode and see what comes up. If you like I'll pm you my postcode and try that

Hi Sally

I've just got a quote with M&S for Holly and it's £273.48 for the premier cover. We live in Hampshire on a safe airbase!

My mum and dads house in a quiet village in Cornwall came out as £205.08.

So it does make a difference where you live Confused
What is their thinking behind it though??
Is she more likely to get stolen from up here? -bear in mind we live 100 yards from the front gate with armed guards on 24/7!!! Laughing
