Sally - it was me that suggested it - yes.
As some of you may know, I was granted my 5th choice, and then it was withdrawn from me following an objection to the ad in the KC Gazette - it seems on this occasion, the affix was already in use and it was the KC's error
Didn't stop my problems though - and thanks to the LF members - I went back to them with a long list of names beginning with 'A' - ran through them over the phone and was awarded...........
Arghishalee (pronounced Ar-a-sha-lee)
it is celtic - blame Kayc
Although I have to say nearly two years on, it has grown on me, but being quite long, it is a real pain trying to sort out the pups names

Mine is the initials of OH , me and my children in order with the last half of my surname-- wanted just the first half but 1 letter too close to another...bit too long really but I use it for a lot of my passwords at work...with numbers added

Jackie
I did mine many years ago when I had Weimaraners and I ended up submitting three different lots of names . I have to say by the end of it I think I'd have settled for anything! It was a nightmare.

Hehe, near where I live there is a labrador breeder with the affix (of more correctly for us a suffix) "of Sandie Landes"! (Landes being a region of France but say it quick and what does it sound like? )

Personally I got my second choice, but that was umpteen years ago.
Previously the KC demanded you had bred several litters (I think it was three) and registered them before they would grant you a kennel name (they used to be called 'affixes' - and before *that* 'kennel prefixes'), but they have probably got wise to the money side of kennel names so they removed that rule poste haste a few years ago
If its really doing you head in think of dogs names past and present you have owned and link them together. Or houses you have lived in and road names and dogs and link those. Wylanbriar came simply from my first reasonably successful dog after I decided to get a affix 'Dylan' and his nickname 'Dylan-Wylan' and 'Briar' was the the name of the Close I lived in as a kid....
Its not that hard, and if I could change one thing now, I would have used less letters as sometimes the words I pick to follow the kennel name as the registered puppies names can have to be a bit shorter than I would like as I generally use song titles! Keep it short, sweet and punchy would be my tip
