diva still sleeps in her crate in my room n we are both happy with that arrangement apart from the crate bit for the last 4 nights ive left the door open she waited till i got out of bed before coming out even though she woke up a while before me so i think its safe for the crate to go Very Happy but i want the right bed to replace it something she can get into rather than something flat but big enough for her to spread out as she has a habit of ending up on her back with legs in the air in the night shes very slender so dosent need to be huge theres just so many to choose from any recommendations???????

Mine have all liked these sort of beds best. They keep out the drafts and are washable too. I only have one left now and Mojo, Una and usually a cat or two all jostle to get in it. Laughing

Smile Jules can i ask - does that bed fit in your machine then? It looks like it would be too big and that's what puts me off the fabric beds.

Mine don't currently have the same sort of beds as Jules' gang, but have in the past and I've found they easily fit into the washing machine.

Yep, Sarah......The base comes out, then the outside just folds up to squash it in the machine. It is a bit of a tight fit but they always come out clean and fresh. I wash the base seperately, usually with some of the blankets. Wink

I know they aren't the prettiest beds to look at (especially when in Chav Tartan Laughing ) but they have been the most "loved" and practical I've found.

Mine like the flat cushion type of bed- and have seldom used their basket type.

Oh great Very Happy , we use several beds, bean bags, plastic with a duvet etc Embarassed but we don't have a big comfy soft one like Jules' Oyster (is it Oyster?). It looks very comfy and basil likes to have sides to his bed.

if your dog is still a chewer - don't spend a fortune on a smart bed !!!!
go for some vet bed instead ...... !!! as smart beds don't look so smart with all the stuffing coming out of them !!
