I used to have one and it was great Very Happy

I use a curry comb on Keira and Lana and the hair just comes out. Because it doesn't stick in the brush though I do it outside and atm just let the hair fly away Laughing and the birds will hopefully be making nice cosy nests with it Laughing

I use one on mine. I have a Mikki one which looks like a computer mouse but with two blades underneath....I just use it like a brush. I know you can get the loop type for dogs now. When I had one for my horse I just scrapped it over him to remove the mud and fur and I guess you do the same with dogs. Pretty simple to use really and very effective at loose fur and mud removal. Wink

I know they sell them in Pets at Home, as I saw the loop type in there yesterday. They only remove loose fur and mud though.....I'm afraid the ruff is a permanent fixture....Mojo has one too. Wink

I've never had one, just have a "rake"-style brush for Oz... but Pudding came with a "loop"-style shedding blade and Leanne suggested I use it every day or two to try and reduce the number of blonde hairs I have flying about the place...
And it rocks!!! I am soooooo getting one for Ozzie when Pud leaves!!
I don't even know if I am using it correctly, I find it gets far more hair out when you brush "against the grain", and then after an all-over brush with the shedding loop they then get an all over brush with the rake which removes undercoat.
I do all of this outside though coz there's hair *everywhere*!!!
