Hudson is nearly 9 months and weighs 24kg. Finding it hard to get him up any higher! I'm guessing he is slowly going to fill out from now. Smile

Dyson is THIRY FOUR KILOS? Shocked Just goes to show the major differences between girls and boys - Carys, Dyson's litter sister, is 27.1 kilos - she's a very active girl and is quite muscly.

Hi guys - just joined today as I was trying to find out about hip dysplasia as there's a possibility my lab has got it Crying or Very sad She is a little chunky as she's only a small lab (5 years & 6 months) and weighs 31kg so she could do with losing a few kilos - bless. Just wanted to say thanks for the tip on adding cooked veg to her food to help fill her up, would not have thought of that one! Wink She has skin allergies so is on a duck & rice based food as it is so need to cut down on those treats Laughing

not sure but when they were spayed /nuetered Loki was 19Kg that was in August he has grown a bit and filled out a bit so possibly an extra kilo or two on him he is roughly 16 months old Sonas was 22kg in September/october when she was spayed, She looks in great condition I don't think she has changed much. She is quite a small lab compared with what I usually see but she does fit in to the breed standard. she is 2 next months.

Wix is 11 months and 28kg. She is pure muscle and I was a bit miffed when the vet said said she should be 25kg. She has a very defined waist and I can feel her ribs, but not see them. If she lost 3kg she would be a poorly looking pup.

When I got Coogie she weighed nearly 45 kgs and was grossly overweight. We needed to get her to lose a 1/4 of her weight so her food was cut by a 1/4 and her exercise was very much increased. She got down to 32 kgs Very Happy Hard work but well worth it in the long run, she enjoyed life again Very Happy

Hee hee these vets make you laugh. When I took Jemima (little chunk) to the vets recently I was sure they were going to say she is too big but no, the vet said she is going to be a big girl and is gorgeous Laughing
Mocha was a bit tubby as a young pup but is now fairly skinny - but she did get fussy with her food Laughing
