can i say .......... that to me ...... A Labby is a Labby is a Labby...............

whatever colour he/she is...

I can't be alone in not seeing the colour of a labby... but just seeing thier true beauty both inside and out???

And for me when i log in.... that photo is fast becoming my new " caffiene fix"...... definatley gives me a happy buzz Very Happy

I agree .. that picture of Brad is very special .. not just for forum members or lovers of black labs but for all Lab admirers .. it encapsulates the character of a Lab so well .. compositionally its flawed BUT as a picture that appeals to all Lab lovers it is very hard to better ... it has a feel about it that a lot of "prettier" pictures lack, I would love it to be given a prominent spot on the LF calendar ... In fact I wish it was incorporated on the T-Shirt/Stickers as well Wink

One, I am sooo sorry you have clearly been let down by members on the sales of T Shirts and stickers.....and for that there is no excuse...

As for Nigel's brilliant reply full of very long words.....he put it in a nut shell...and is SO right...you are personallising it Dave because Brad belongs to you.....If you saw that pic and didn't know the dog you wouldn't think twice.

Ask yourself....of every calendar you see on the shelves...they all have an owner Wink

As for the pic of Brad - yep Nigel is right IMHO it portrays every quality of a lab...whether brad or not Wink Only you / we know it's Brad, but to any lab owner its is clearly a cheeky normal pose of a Labrador

Just my thoughts....
