Thought I had better update this list!

Am pleased to say that most of the dogs featured in my first post have now found new homes, although the lovely poodle brothers are still looking.

Other Oldies Club dogs now in foster and ready for rehoming anywhere in the UK, subject to successful homecheck and potential adopter visiting the foster home, are as follows.

Please click on the link under the dog's name to read more about them on the OC site Smile

Trusty Rusty, fostered in Notts:
http://www.oldies.org.uk/?p=4722

Delectable Deefer, fostered in Milton Keynes:
http://www.oldies.org.uk/?p=4686

Suki & Bonnie, fostered in Milton Keynes
http://www.oldies.org.uk/?p=4461

Ruby, fostered in Herts
http://www.oldies.org.uk/?p=4462

Bouncy Bouncer, fostered in Lincs
http://www.oldies.org.uk/?p=4333

Kyle Cocker, fostered in Cheshire
http://www.oldies.org.uk/?p=4304

Jack Patterdale, fostered in London
http://www.oldies.org.uk/?p=4272

Darling Daisy, fostered in Oxfordshire
http://www.oldies.org.uk/?p=3832

Super Scooby, fostered in Cheshire
http://www.oldies.org.uk/?p=3824

Teddy-bear Bolo & Ball-mad Mitzi, fostered in Cheltenham
http://www.oldies.org.uk/?p=3730

As above, these dogs can all be homed across the UK provided a home visit can be arranged and passed and the potential adopter is willing to travel to the foster home to meet the dog(s).

Does anyone have room in their lives/hearts for an older dog, or know anyone else who might?

Thanks for reading Smile

Thanks guys. They're wonderful aren't they Nat?

If I were looking for another, I'd be very tempted by Trusty Rusty, I think he looks/sounds just lovely and he reminds me a little of our beautiful oldie who left for the Bridge last year.

Its horrible to talk about having another dog once my little lad goes. And i know he is not going to make old bones, with his illness. But that is what i plan to do. I was brought up with dogs, and intend taking on an older dog, from the R.S.P.C.A. out here. There are so many abandon dogs. Why people take them on. I will never know. But the people that just bump them on the streets. Words fail me.

Many of these dogs have now found a new home, including the lovely poodle boys finally! Scooby was adopted by his foster family Smile

Jack the gorgeous oldie Patterdale is still looking Sad

Bonnie and Suki and Bolo and Mitzi are still looking for that special home.

I will post an updated list of current Oldies Club dogs later. I know they are not labs but maybe you know of someone who is looking for an older dog.

Of course we also advertise oldies for lots of other rescues on our website, including Labs Smile

What wonderful dogs and what fantastic work you do for the Oldies.

Bolo and Mitzi could easily steal my heart. Hope they all find some lovely people soon.

I met an adopted Oldie on holiday, she was a 14 year old Lab girlie, lumpy and bumpy and battered, but very very loved, they adopted her 4 years ago. I told them all about the Oldies site as they want another oldie when the inevitable happens.
