Has anyone found 'any' toy that is still in one peice??
I always go for the most hard looking ones, that I know he can't kill very easily...
I even bought that little red (baby shaped) BATTLE TESTED thing, and after ONLY 2 hours of it being in the same room as him, he managed to get the stuffing out!!
and now...this one.. the hardest rope knot I have found, to the point that I was worried about giving it to him in case he cracked a tooth!!! (Its rocl solid and heavy! (found that out after he dropped it on my foot )
Yup! That's what my two think toys are for too!
I have to warn friends that they mustn't be upset if presents they buy for our dogs are shredded in minutes.
My friends Schnauzer has every single soft toy he has ever been given in his bed and he snuggles down with them at night! Now wouldn't that be cute?!!
Have recently discovered some quite tough toys called 'Tuffie's' (TM) which seem to be made out of very thick (possibly boiled?) fleece, with ballistic nylon inside that, then stuffed with some squeakers thrown in for good measure.
There are different shapes and sizes and they are ranked from I think 4 - 10 according to how indestructible they are!
I started mine off with an 8 each, they destroyed one of those, so they now have a couple of large doughnut shaped number 9s and apart from a small tear in one, they are both intact - amazing!!
They are the only 'soft' toys that have survived more than 5 minutes in our house for ages.
Ha ha Milo has one of those and it looks just like that!! I just keep trimming all the loose ends off...he's had it a few months so it's not going too bad! He loves soft toys which I occasionally buy from the charity shop but within 5 mins the ears have been eaten!! Lovely pictures
LMAO CJ has one of those and so far its the only toy he hasn`t been able to totally destroy, not for want of trying mind you in fact he got bored of it cos it wouldn`t come apart so didn`t play with it much anymore, it got written off after the fire so he doesn`t have to worry about it anymore
OOOH Helen you kept that quiet where do iget these from ??????
Only just found them Marie!
They were in my local Partners, not cheap mind so I passed them by a couple of times before I thought I'd give them a try - if something lasts then it's worth a bit more!
