Laughing Well to be honest when it came out it actually looked quite nice...so knowing what the men in the house are like I cut it up pretty darn quick before they helped themselves Wink I personally cannot abide liver hence it making me a bit queasy Confused

Yes Bo has passed the paw of approval on it. Definitely better with more garlic this recipe. I've made another recipe before but this one is much nicer with better consistency and considerably cheaper than bought treats.

Oh and I substituted wholemeal flour as I thought it was more healthy Smile

Many thanks for this recipe.
I made this for Jensen yesterday and it was an instant hit! Took it walking this morning for recall training and he was amazing at coming back. Met another dog whilst out in the pouring rain and she could smell it in my pocket> i had two dogs sitting perfectly at my feet!!!! I felt like Victoria Stilwell lol.
The recipe made plenty too so if you dont like the smell at least you dont have to do it too often. I froze some of mine.

I made this for George the other day - he goes bonkers for it!

I substituted oats for the flour (he's BARF and I feel oats are a bit better for him the ground wheat).

I too put two cloves of garlic and a bit of sunflower oil in it, to help keep it moist.

Now if I say "Liver Cake" he comes bolting back from wherever he is Smile
