Oh fabulous thank you, was looking for a recipe for this for training classes. Now be honest, on a scale of 1-10 how bad does it make your kitchen smell? And which sort of liver should it be? Lambs or pigs or not important? I'm guessing lambs as you don't really give dogs pork do you?

Ben loves his liver cake I dont love the smell but if the kitchen door is open then its pritty cool,

I do use rhy flour rather than self raising though, & add some oatmeal which he loves

It smells rank,, not good,

Luckily we made up loads in one hit so i dont have to make anymore for a few months,

Must admit i would prolly cook it at a lower temp as i found that the cakes we made got a crust on them at 180, which i wasn't overly keen on,, would prefer more of a spongyness to them rather than crust on the outside..

Only my personal view though.

We made it with 3 diff sorts of liver, doesn;t seem to make much odds, still all smells rank.

I think we used plain flour as well,, wonder what diff it would make using self raising,, guess that would make it more cakey rather than crusty

Will try this. I don't have a sense of smell, so maybe I'll only offend the kids.

Love the picture of Bradley, Julie.

Well done Sally, that's great! Did Bo enjoy it then? Did you sample any? Laughing
