I know how heart breaking it was Julie, when my wonderful Bethany developed it. But the two of us learned to live with it. She was such a character that nothing got her down for long. She had a way of looking at you that you just knew she was laughing at your jokes. She made it easy for me.
Regards, John

Have heard from these folks today and will be sending off BJ's contribution to their research as soon as I receive the kit from them.
It is tough at times to stand by, unable to do anything to help our epileptic dogs , so thanks again for this opportunity.

Just logged back on after ages I know!
I will contact the researchers too - Winston thankfully has gone back to 4 months between fits, instead of the 4 weekly ones.

Hi,
Mambo has Partial seizures which sometimes develope into Generalised Seizures (formally called Gran Mal!! ) They do seem to follow a similar pattern to that of my daughter.
The vet has given Diazapam PR to use if they on longer than 5mins or come in a cluster.
Will contact sites in Johns posting.

They took a long time to reply to me Fledgling, so I gave them a gentle reminder and the pack came through. I think they are very busy folks.
Best wishes as always for Zak.
