It must be the time of year when every one thinks about their dog's bed! Laughing
We are thinking of getting Lucy a 20cm deep foam bed....does anyone have one?? Not that she needs a new bed just thinking of another Christmas pressie! Rolling Eyes Very Happy
What are your opinions on them? Do they mould to your dogs body?

Generally i have found the beds filled with fibre go flatter quicker. At the moment Lucy has a bean bed inside a soft bed with tall edges. The beans are good you can puff them up.

Thanks Rach! Very Happy So does the foam mould to your body?

Sally i have seen ones with two covers, the inner one is waterproof and the outer one is softer material such as faux suede or fleece. And both are removeable, so in theory you would wash the covers.

This is the same with Lucy's current bed, we cannot wash the bean bag inside but there is never any need to, because its only the cover that needs washing. And the waterproof inner bit keeps the beans dry...so they don't pong. Very Happy

We have recently bought a new mega expensive mattress that has a layer of memory foam on the top, but inside Confused It is soooo comfy, moulds to your body then bounces back when you get out. I would be interested to know where this dog bed is available Wink I feel a potential xmas pressie coming on Wink

Here you go Sally: http://www.extracomfort.co.uk/Details.cfm?ProdID=148&category=8
Or do you want just a protective waterproof cover?

Thank you Linzi. The mattress was for us. It's not all memory foam or even a topper it is a slim layer within the mattress itself.
Am just looking at how much those beds are and it's given me an idea. You can get a single bed size topper for around £45. All I need to do is get some of that fleece material and I could make one up myself. £160 is a bit ott for such a small bed. Smile
