Hello...
Can there be such a thing as a lazy puppy??
Honestly, Sadie needs coaxing to go out for her trip to the garden or her
little walks, but once she's out she's fine! Its the getting her out thats the problem!! Maybe she likes her home comforts too much??? She's teething as well just now, tried her with frozen carrots (as suggested on the forums) and she didnt like them!!! I thought labs ate ANYTHING!!!

Lol, you should meet my dog, left to her own devices I suspect she would barely move. Most of the time if she was any more laid back she would be horizontal The upside is she has hardly destroyed anything, and can still amuse us with her antics at times.

Raven is very chilled most of the time even at the tender age of 13 weeks.....but sometimes she has mad moments...they don't last long thought.

Hi Mands
I am not trying to be nosey but what type of breeder did you get your pup from. My last pup i bought was for showing so i have noticed the difference in the amount of energy this one has compared to the others who come from working kennels.
She can be very lazy one minute, and going hyper the next

My sisters Lab is the laziest dog i have ever seen. He was so lathargic that she took him to the vet's coz she thought there was something wrong with him. The vet did all the checks he could and came to the conclusion that he was a very very lazy dog. I was there once when his ball ran away from him, he carried on lying on the floor and barked, when i asked my sister why was he barking, she replied "he wants you to get his ball for him" My Labrador on the otherhand is demented and never stops, he is always on the go and full of life. (I think I'll swap them for a week and see if my sister notices) Ha Ha x

Nell was never still, and an absolute lunatic for the first three years now she is very lazy and chilled, although she does get at least two hours exercise of a morning. then she just lounges around and sleeps

Hi Colette, she's from a working dog litter... her sister who lives over the road seems to be more "energetic", but when they're out together, my god, you cant stop them!!! Its just getting her out the front door!!! lol
