hehe - you can get whichever you wish. Personally I would get the lead size to match the collar size not sure where you will get them from but the multipurpose may be something you will get more use of later on. I am getting a pup soon (dally not lab) I have got him a small collar and a small standard lead and a med collar with a med multi purpose lead. Also depends which colour you like as the multi purpose dont come in all colours either HTH

Right then...

How long will a small collar last a labrador?

Is that the same as how long is a piece of string????!!! Rolling Eyes

Sorry to be a pain but I want to get it right and I am such a fuss pot. What with xmas and new pups don't have bundles of money right now Wink

Well Una pup is 15 weeks old and when she stayed this weekend a 13 inch collar was only a teeny bit loose. Think Una is quite a standard size - whatever way you slice it a small wont last long - an alternative is getting something like this Puppy_set which will be small enough for the first few weeks. Ruby had something like this and is perfectly adequate for the first collar.

wait till you get your pup and take him with you Smile ( best way as they all differ so much )Thepuppy sets never fitted midas ,he went straight into a 15 inch collar which he outgrew at 11-12 weeks old .
most pet shops allow dogs ,just dont let him on the floor Smile
