I know I am a complete loony, but I have real issues with things like colours matching etc, maybe a bit OCD-ish??
Well I have a problem with collar colour for Phoenix - her collar has to match compliment her and nothing except black and brown seems to work which would be fine if she was a boy but she is a tiny little girl.
Her fur is a reddy colour on her back going down to very light on her stomach and legs. Ears and neck are the red
so.... what colour collar/lead? I wanted her to be all pink and girlie but it just clashes!
Suggestions please - and not the suggestion that I need certifying!
As long as you're aware you do need certifying then that's ok
We just buy the best collar for the dogs, and they are usually plain leather so are some shade of brown. Obviously we just are not fashion conscious enough when it comes to our dogs, they don't even have matching leads (looks apprehensively out of the window to see if the dog fashion police are outside).

Definitely - all the family tell me I am a complete loon! Best to own up and admit it I think
Tha's ok....I love that collar it seems to compliment all colours.
I have one which I bought for Oyster (she was very pale cream) and it looked lovely on her.....now she's gone Mojo wears it and it looks lovely against the black too.
well your half way there by admitting you have a problem
and you all know what i think of you collar brigade lot I have tried to save eve from herself but she just wont be saved so i gave up
seriously whats wrong with a brown collar anyway or a tan colour, its very in fashion i wear brown all the time, and i am a girl.
Now go away and fight this obsession with collars and colours before it gets out of hand
fledgling and zak
But as humas we are instantly recognisable as female or male - not so obvious with dogs unless you look for dangly bits - and i dont want people thinking she is a boy.
My kids are used to me now - matching socks and underwear with their clothes! I think they just humour me.
Boys have football boots to match the colour of their kits.
