I've just used http://www.moneysupermarket.com/petinsurance/ to look for insurance for Midnight. My beardie Croker is with Argos but it looks like Midi would be cheaper with E&L. Anybody used this one?

Sorry not used them myself - but I have found that rates via moneysupermarket are more expensive than direct....

I've heard that E&L (who, IIRC, are also the underwriters of the Argos policy) are absolute gits to get money out of.

OP

Get quotes from:

PetPlan
M&S
AXA
NFU (phone only)
Halifax

It's worth doing them all, but I've put them in price order (for me at least), with the cheapest at the bottom.

would definitely recommend life cover - and if your dog has an existing condition which has life cover, stay with your current insurer.

go for good cover - IF you have to be referred, £2,000 doesn't go very far..
