Hurrah! She's just scoffed a bowl of Eukanuba in warm milk. I hope it doesn't come out the other end too quickly!
Your Indie is absolutely beautiful. Here's a pic of my Indie (black - her real name was India), with her big sis Honey. They both lived to the ripe old ages of 14 and 15 respectively, so here's to a long happy life with Dee!
ooooooh, lovely pics, Indie and Tau are also related, half sisters. Were yours full or half sisters? - btw Fran1 is very biased as she bred both our chocci girls Maddie, the girl in Fran's details is the mum of our two.
Glad you got your pup to eat something by the way.
Thanks. Honey & Indie were half sisters. I wish they were here now - they'd soon put Dee in her place! The little darling is asleep now, so at least she can't chew my jumper any more!
I miss our old rescue girl Rhuna, no relation to the other two, but a grand old lass. She had to be put to sleep on Monday as she started to fail rapidly She used to nick Indie and Tau's balls and run off back to her bed with them, hehe, they used to have me in stitches sat having my morning cuppa.
We plan to keep a pup out of each of our two girls, we're half way through health checks - Indie was just ready to compete at working trials when she badly injured her back left knee, now we're taking it much more slowly with Tau (possibly a bit too slowly but I'd rather be cautious). I can't wait until we keep a pup, altho its gonna be very hard to to keep one out of every litter
Oh my god, I'm so sorry. I know how that feels. Strangely enough, we put Honey to sleep a year ago today. We wish she was still here to put Dee in her place!
I hope Indie gets back to full health soon, and good luck with Tau!
Thank you, Indie certainly is bouncing back to full health, and its been a hectic year. We took Rhuna on knowing she didn't perhaps have that long to go, not many people give older dogs the same chance as cute young pups, and we felt we should do our part. As it happened she hung around for a lot longer than we expected, and we had a great time with her, so no regrets at all.
And we're not keeping a pup out of every litter, just looked at my post again! I meant to say its going to be hard not to keep one out of every litter, bloomin typo fingers!!
It sure will be hard not to keep a pup from every litter. My other half wants to breed from Dee when she's older but I think I would get too attached to them all! I'm already totally besotted with Dee and we've only had her since Tuesday. She's really caught on to toilet training, but I can't stop her chewing everything in sight -she's especially fond of my clothes!
