My partner recently joined this site so I thought I'd better get on here too - before we get our puppy!

I have also just realised my initials are L.A.B - So I must be destined to own a Labrador!!!! Very Happy

How confusing - i thought i was logged on as me but was logged on as OH (sasababe) - i may as well give up now!

Hi everyone - thanks for your messages.
I am very excited - after many weeks of umming and aaahing we have finally decided to get a black baby girl to come and join our family. My mum has had a totaly hissy fit but never mind...(I am 30!)

So - at the moment am in touch with a breeder in scotland who i know quite well and my brother has also found a local game keeper in inverness who is having a litter in feb. Otherwise we are on the hunt for one to be ready soonish so we can take her up to scotland to my family for christmas and introduce her to lots of new people and dogs.

Now just have to plan time off (at least 2 weeks i think?), crate, food, routine, broken nights etc.

Fingers crossed we find a lovely one soon - but we wont be rushing into anything until we find the right one!

One longpost I'm afraid but OH will be back form work later and I wont get logged on again!!
