Hehe, my boy is a GOOD boy! Lots of poos and wees outside, little wee accident a minute ago but more our fault than his we were all scoffing cream cakes and couldn't put them down quick enough lol! I set his crate up as soon as we got home last night and he went in and out a few times and had a sleep in there, took him out at 1am and he did poos and wees so took a chance on not setting an alarm. Got up at 6.30am to a dry clean crate and a good puppy chewing his toys with a waggy tail! No crying whatsoever . I know it won't last and he will get naughtier as he settles in but he's been great and everyone loves him.
Yes Jo I did manage to keep it a secret from the kids, they thought we went off to look at a car and we were winding them up about coming home with a brown one! Charli had tears in her eyes when we came back with him, Shayne took one look and went off to play with his train set!
