hi im ashlee owner of elar a black lab with full vca papers, whom i plan on breeding in the future all being ok. we are from australia, elar is looking promising as a gun/duck dog. i have had a lab nearly all my life and couldnt imagine not having one, tho i am getting incressintly upset over the numbers of 'bad' labs out there (as with most breeds) my parents bought one of these badly bred dogs when i was a kid (kara whom i grew up with from 6-16) she suffered uterus and over problems, cervical cancer,arthritis,started going blind and a bit of what ide call demenchor (i dont know how to spell that ) we wernt sure whether the mind probs she had where from old age or from the 4 1/2 hour op to save her life at age 7, all health issues aside she was the BEST dog EVER she was always there to lend a shoulder to cry on and to listen to all my problems as i grew up she was my best friend! so to her i thank for opening my eyes to the beautiful world of labs i hope to always own one. elar is my latest dog and first dog i have bought myself since moving out of home! she is fully reg'd and in good health both phisically and mentally, i got her when my son was only 6months old and from the day i got her at 12weeks old she has been brillaint never knocked him over or been rough, she is now nearly 2 and i have a 5month daughter while my daughter was on the floor playing she started to cry so elar went over and got as close as she could with out getting on the blanket layed down and let my daughter do what she pleased to her she is just wonderfull! i look forward to being apart of this wonderfull site. ashlee&elar.
