My name is Jo and I have been the proud mum to Blue for 3 weeks now.
He is a 3 year old very handsome boy.
We adopted him through the R.S.P.C.A and he is an absolute joy. I look forward to getting to know everyone and picking up some top tips.

Hi Eve yes he had an X-ray to confirm hip dysplasia , he doesnt need any treatment at the mo just increased chance of osteoarthritis as he gets older the vet said but I have had labs in the past so no real surprise there.
I have started him on cod liver oil and we are increasing his muscle mass and fitness and he is looking better already.
He was kept outside in a run and not walked much in his old home so hes getting plenty of gentle exercise and even some swimming yesterday as the weather was good.
