CJ`s second swim:D

Sadly I was`nt quick enough to get the camera out for his first, was hanging on to his lunge rein!!, he paddled in and more by accident than design found himself swimming because he stepped off a "shelf" in the lake Laughing

I was able to persuade him to go in again and took this pic, he was actually on his way out again.

Then this as he was sitting on the bank afterwards having shaken excess water off as close to me as possible Shocked

Thanks Jill, I did try to get video shots but CJ refused to cooperate!!, most of it is my voice trying to persuade him in and giving up Laughing

Sometimes even taking pictures is a struggle.
Usually they think the camera is another toy Shocked

Looks like CJ is a real water baby! Love the pics! You'll have to keep posting them because I couldnt wait another yr to see CJ again!

Your beautiful boy looks like he's having such fun - great pics!

Sadly, we don't have any water around here for Smudge to swim in, but I can't wait to take him back to the beach, as I loved seeing him swim! Like CJ, he ended up doing so by accident (that puddle was a bit deeper than he thought!) but it was still great to see!

Corbie's first swim was also a step off a ledge and panic because paws were no longer on the ground Laughing

I have to go 5 miles for CJ`s swims, so sadly he does`nt go too often, he loves it though a huge park with lots of lovely smells and undergrowth that he can`t understand why I won`t go in with him!!, makes the 30` lead very useful indeed Laughing

I need a lead that long! Corbie's got a 5 metre one which I had him on the other day by the river. He decided to go down a step bank to the water and I got dragged down after him and nearly ended up face first in the river Embarassed

He then got back up the bank no problem, but left me to figure out how I was going to climb back up, while he stood there staring at me Laughing
