hi hope you are all well sounds like you are doing great, how long is it since the op and have you had your 6 week xrays yet, it is a worry when they have been on medicine there whole life isnt it.my vet took tia of metacam on saturday as she was a bit high she was going crazy just wanted to be out of her cage and wanting to play and when she was out i was being dragged around the garden by her very hard to keep control of her she still hasnt carmed down much its like she must feel so great for the first time in her little life that she doesnt want to miss a miniute of the world.she doesnt seem to be in pain she is really happy most of the time but does get bored of the cage.was puds like this to also how long was he hobbled for tia has to be for 6 weeks.i take it he may be aloud short works now to i bet he loves them i think post op care is different for how the procedures have gone is this right as there seems to be a bit of difference between the post op care.am really glad things are going great your way and look forward to more posts have you got any videos of him at all? lots of love kelly and tia xx

As Pudsey has his hip removed his post care treatment and excercise programme is very different from when he had a hip replacement.

Now he needs to build up as much muscle as possible so excercise s very important. He is alowed of lead which is great because after two failed hip replacement he has been on restricted excercise since May.

Puds had his op about 4-5 weeks ago and is doing amazing, although he still has a small hoble he is using his leg more than he has ever done.

Its sad that puds hip repalcements didnt work, but i am so pleased he has had this last procedure as touch wood it seems to have worked.

I will take some video of Puds at the weekend at the Brean GT.

Tomorrow at the vets we are hoping to get some more info on his hydrotherpy which i know he is going to love!
