that was a nightmare from hell got the kids to help there was noone else at all got back and the b***y things had come of got to do it all again tommorow arrrrg.this time my sister is coming already talked her into it she has just finished work.got to have them put on again and they are goingto show me how to do it,bless them they put bright pink on for her to.this is day one and i am so tired its such hard work and she thinks she can run of sometimes this really is a two man job thank god ben is back tommorow for a couple of days can not wait to go to bed.although when she was asleep this morning i mannaged to clean all the house so thats made me tired now got to dash dinner is in the oven speak to you all later love kelly and tia xxx
Kelly I know it's a pain going to have the hobble on but I'm really glad they've decided to do it. It really did give me a lot of reassurance as I knew with one on, Charlie couldn't slip and pull his hip out again, plus when he was feeling better he couldn't race around (although he did manage to walk really well!!)
Charlie was a pest with his though. He chewed it off nearly everyday so we had to keep going back to have a new one on. In the end they showed me how to do it and gave me a supply to put on at home.

thanks wendy we well get a supply of them tom glad its not just my dear dog thats a pest lol.my back is killing as although the sling is ok its hard as she want to go one way and i am going the other i will need one by the time we have finished.sorry it sounds like i am moaning its just really hard thats all the kids dont make it much easier as i get her settled and they come back.anyway its quite time in our house now beth is getting a bath and she goes to bed soon tia normally goes of about 7ish to so hope to get a hot bath and relax for an hour while they are sleeping.than back to the vet tom to sort her very bright pink hobbles out.she looked so cute in them to very girly will grap a picky if she keeps them on next time.her 6 week check is on the 19th of november at 10am so have to throw a sick day at uni that day as he said she will be there a few hours that day.roll on next summer and hopefully we will have a great fit dog just like charlie is now.i have already put a few pictures on the other link incase you miss them love kelly and tia xx
Oh Kelly so sorry that it sounds as though this is all very difficult and not helped by having to try to cope with her nursing needs on your own effectively. It will all be worth it in the end when she can run and enjoy life and not be in pain....
