Aww my little girly is being spayed tomorrow.
All the pre-op checks were done over weekend and she's been given a clean bill of health to go ahead with the op.
Her bed in the crate is washed, dried and smelling lovely. I've bought some chicken breast and rice to cook up for her to spoil her when she comes home.
Can anyone tell me what the recovery time will be like for her? I only know cat spay and dog castration. I've never had a bitch before.
Me and Fudgie are going for a big yomp over the vale to take our minds off it. We'll be like a pair of lost souls.
Many thanks xxx

Awwww good luck lovely Angel.
Ruby wasnt herself for a few days tbh a bit whiney after the aneasthetic and she wouldnt eat at all (but then Ruby isnt a foodey at the best of times) the scar was teeny tiny and so neat so much better than I imagined it to be. Ruby was done on the tues and no walks at all till her post op check on the friday then lead only for another 2 weeks after that - only because she is a runner 100mph girl though she could have gone offlead before that if she were a plodder. Ruby didnt bother with her wound at all so I didnt use the lamp shade but I did sleep downstairs with her for a few days.
Most on here bounce back within a day though so Angel may recover overnight
Lots of luck for you tomorrow - you will suffer a lot more than she does xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Its amazing how quickly they get over the operation...Raven was a bit spaced out for a few hours after bringing her home, but the next day she was full of beans as usual
