Well, I kinda thought Belle would have a tick, seeing as a lot of the other dogs who were at the GT on Sunday had them. It was quite small and I took her to the vet where the nurse showed me how to take it out. I didn't realise they come out alive, or how big their heads are! Yuk!

Trying to keep Belle from going to the other dogs in the vet and stopping her from getting too excited was a nightmare. I am exhausted, and honestly felt like crying when I came out. I felt like people were thinking I couldn't control my dog, and it was horrible. Has anyone else ever felt like that? I know I shouldn't really care what other people think......perhaps I am just feeling a bit emotional today. Wink

My dogs always seem to show me up at the vets!!! Leo isn't too bad but for some reason usually feels need to bark at any other dog that walks in, and Daisy, well.....Daisy usually spends the entire time acting like she wants to kill every other living thing in the waiting room! Other than that, they are fine! Laughing

I really wouldn't worry about it, I think a lot of dogs act strangely at the vets as it is stressful for them! (and us! Wink )

5!! I am sure there will be more on Belle. I tried to pick up a tick remover from Pets at Home but they didn't have the same one as the vet nurse used, so my friend Morag is going to get some from her vet for me.

Belle was better when she did sit on my knee. Maybe I should have tried that. Laughing

Ooh, the nurse didn't tell me they sold them there. Morag has got me them now, but thanks anyway!

I keep telling Mum to check Ellie but she says she doesn't have any ticks. I guess she wasn't rolling around as much as our Furbabies were. Wink

Oooh, I missed the training class! I couldn't have made it anyway, as I had to be in Glasgow for 7.30am this morning for work! Not nice. Especially as I was up late last night because of a spider running around my house (I swear it was chasing me). Mad

Hope the class went well, and thanks for asking me along!

When Belle went to the vet for her second vaccination, I was given the liquid to drop on her skin for fleas/ticks etc. Perhaps I didn't apply it properly though. Wink

Poor Bella, having to go to the vets - glad the tick is out though.

Yes, Corbie's behaviour has nearly had me in tears lots of times so you're not the only one - although vets are an exception and he just sits and waits but when it's his turn I have to drag him in Laughing
