Thanks everyone for the most warming of welcomes....
When we were talking about getting a dog we were just making up names in the car one day and I came up with Sheepdip ..... i really liked it and my GF sort of took to it too..so we decided if we got a dog that was the name.......
not really into the regular type names for dogs.... and have to say it really makes people look twice when you call his name........
